Duties include driving ceremonial vehicles, bearing coffins at funeral services and includes working out of hours on call duties (removal of the deceased to our Chapel of Rest outside of usual working hours – PLEASE NOTE this includes weekends and all public holidays). There are no regular hours of work for this role and work will be dependent on funeral services taking place, so would suit an individual looking for casual work and not relying on a regular weekly income.

Memorial Christmas Tree 2019

2019 Memorial Tree

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation go to all the families who placed memorial messages in honour of lost loved ones on our Christmas remembrance tree and who kindly donated to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice – your generosity is always appreciated by ourselves, the Charity and those children and families who have need for the fabulous services, care and support the Charity provide.

This year we raised a fabulous £610.00 in total (including kind donations placed in the local Charity box situated in our Reception throughout the year). We know that it will make a difference to the children and families who need this support, so thank you very much.

Our new fleet

2019 Our New Fleet

On 26th March 2019, W.S. Inghams took receipt of their brand-new fleet of funeral vehicles.

The fleet comprises a Jaguar XF 2.0L Hearse and two gleaming Jaguar XJ 3.0 L V6 Limousines all in stunning Corris Grey metal paintwork with luxury leather interiors and many added extra’s to make that final journey as smooth and dignified as it should be.

Renowned for our attention to detail and always wanting to give our families the best possible service, we are the first Funeral company in the UK to have these superb models.
